WHAT MOTIVATIONAL THEORIES ARE MORE USEFUL AND WHY

The point about PRIME Theory is that it recognises that different approaches to motivation capture different features. Operant learning theory and drive theory capture the animalistic part of our motivational system while expected utility models capture the reflective analytical choice processes and self-regulation theory covers the interaction between the two. But none of them covers the full range.
